Gay marriage should be legal. It's the 21st century - the last civil rights movement was more than 40 years ago. It's time to make some more changes.

Whether the gay couple down the street from you is living together with or without a marriage certificate is no one's business but their own - and the government should not have jurisdiction over who is allowed or not allowed to be married. How does a piece of paper legally binding two people affect ANYONE else but those two people?

Ugh - gay marriage should be legalized. Enough is enough of this religious bullshit.

Marriage should be for religious people in front of God, anything else should be civil unions for tax purposes, hetero or homo.

i fully agree with the first post. sorry follow-up disher - but religion has nothing to do with two people forming a union. in my humble opinion.

I totally agree with you. You can't help who you love and if it just happens to be someone of the same sex then it's okay. I am bisexual so if I happened to find a girl that I was really in love with, I would want to marry her. I have a gay uncle who is unable to marry the man he loves and it just really sucks. I know that marriage is just a peice of paper to some people but people who can't marry the ones they love..think of marriage as something more. Which it should be. I wish it could be legalized and just cuz youre gay, you can still believe in God.

Good for you!! Love is love. I don't care if you're religios or anything. If two people actualy WANT to be together for the rest fo their lives and can actually make it work, that's great! I mean, think of the divorce rate in this country!
